Mr. John Boothby
John Boothby has taught science - primarily Biology, but also Forensic Science and Earth Science - for 11 years, and he has been at New Milford High School for 10 of them. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and from the University of Virginia with a Master's Degree in Secondary Science Education. Mr. Boothby thinks that early exposure to science and nature is crucial in turning kids, who are naturally curious, into well-rounded adults who can help make our world a better place. Mr. Boothby enjoys spending time outdoors, as well as staying physically active, running, hiking, playing basketball, and spending time with his wife and children.
I enjoy the moments when children realize that scientific understanding is attainable, often with little more than common sense.
